ConnectLive 2025 is a one-day, in-person event where the iManage community comes together to share its collective knowledge in pursuit of a higher calling: to further the ambitions and goals of our users and the wider knowledge work industry. And yes — I absolutely think everyone in the iManage community should attend. Let me explain why. 

Something for everyone 

Wherever you fall on the knowledge work continuum, we have something for you at ConnectLive. It’s where thoughts, ideas, partnerships, and plans are set in place to anchor the foundations of your business. And that’s a great start, but it’s so much more. 

At ConnectLive, you’ll hear about recent successes that may spark your future plans. You’ll capture learnings and insights, strengthen existing relationships, and cultivate new ones. Whether you are interacting with iManage SMEs and executives, fellow users, or iManage partners, this event provides a unique once-a-year opportunity to draw from a deep well of expertise and experience that is only offered in one place at this event.  

The iManage ecosystem extends beyond SMEs and your peers from other organizations. It includes reseller, technology, and integration partners, as well as larger partners like Microsoft and ServiceNow, who work closely with iManage developers to ensure smooth integration between our respective solutions. Many of these will be represented. 

The value gained from interactions with our subject matter experts cannot be overstated. It might be a product expert, someone on our exec team, or someone well-versed in a specific area of knowledge work, and their expertise may be legal, corporate legal, or elsewhere. 

But whatever shape these experts' experience takes, ConnectLive is the time and place to connect with and engage them, hear them out, and discuss and consider their perspectives. Many interactions and conversations that begin at ConnectLive grow into highly valued relationships whose value and impact continue to flourish over time.  

With all of this knowledge on tap, attendees nearly unanimously report coming away feeling they’re ahead of the game in at least one way — and very often in too many ways to count.  

Hot topics  

Our sessions and keynotes are still very much a work in progress, but we can assure you that certain “hot topics” will be front and center. 

For example, we know that organizations have moved on from the hype that generative AI inspired into wanting to understand how artificial intelligence becomes part and parcel of how we work. How AI is impacting knowledge work is a true shift in the industry, and people are trying to figure out what that means, how the work will change, and what that may look like. 

We understand that organizations like yours are thinking about how you’ll weave AI across entire workflows in a way that is safe, scalable, and makes the best use of current investments. Now that we are all over the hype, we need to talk about AI in the context of what it enables. 

iManage serves knowledge workers and knowledge-intensive businesses. Our message of the importance of investing in your core platform is resonating more and more as our markets internalize how critical the state of their knowledge is to their ability to move into this AI-led future. That future is now.  

So, one of the things we’ll focus on at ConnectLive 2025 is how you can best position your organization to take full advantage of the ongoing innovations around AI. That includes how having iManage as your core platform opens the door to implementing knowledge-led applications like iManage Insight+ and data-led offerings like iManage AI Enrichment. Even iManage Closing Folders leverages elements of AI and provides quick value to end users in their day-to-day workflow. 

AI assistants are another hot topic (we know everybody wants one!), and that is where Ask iManage comes in. If that’s on your to-do list, you won’t want to miss any session that covers this incredibly useful new offering. 

We can’t leave out our ongoing partnership with Microsoft and specific advancements in co-authoring — music to the ears of so many of our users — and CSPP+. For recent developments in risk and governance, stay tuned and all will be revealed. 

It’s all about the platform 

It all comes back to how we deliver ongoing value and impact for our customers who have invested in the iManage platform. New products, new tools, and new capabilities emanate from that core strength outward to address new pain points.  

Over and above the technology, we are investing in customer success, implementation, and your day-to-day experience as a user. We want to be certain that our platform enables organizations to continue to progress their knowledge maturity, and to unlock and drive that value to the business. 

We like to showcase some of our newer, more innovative partners at this event. The iManage ecosystem is so extensive that this benefit alone may be worth your price of admission (just kidding — the admission is free, so it’s worth much more).  

Equally, we look to amplify the customer voice and their innovations and successes using iManage. We find that people appreciate having dedicated time to think about how their organization can apply similar strategies to get the most value and impact from their iManage investment.  

What’s different this year? 

Knowledge work industries have generally been viewed as slow to adopt new technology — the move to the cloud is an example of this phenomenon. Conversely, we're seeing these industries become the most ready and willing adopters of new innovations around AI. 

The openness to test and try new things is also increasing at a pace we’ve not seen. Users at all levels have a stake in getting the most use and value out of their tools and are showing up. There is so much innovation and engagement happening across our customer base. The readiness to trial and test and the concerted effort to manage that and make it scalable, digital, and more automated, is something we love to see.  

What is the same? 

ConnectLive promulgates face-to-face conversations that help attendees stay ahead of industry trends and innovations. But it’s more than a snapshot in time of market trends or innovations: ConnectLive kick-starts these conversations but also helps keep them going with after-event communication via iManage Community. 

Many ongoing community interactions and conversations begin at ConnectLive and become even more highly valued as the relationships mature and their value compounds over time. 

One of the things that always stands out to me during ConnectLive is my perception that the whole community — iManage people, customers, and partners — is as invested in the iManage platform as I am. I can feel that we all understand this is not a transactional relationship; it’s a trusted partnership, and we are all here to support one another.  

This sense that everyone is on the same wavelength, committed to the iManage platform and the iManage mission and vision, is palpable, and it continues to resonate, at least for me, even after we all return to our daily lives. It makes the rewards of this work immeasurable.
