Deloitte Luxembourg Strengthens Knowledge Management and Security with iManage Cloud

CHICAGO – January 29, 2026 – iManage, the company dedicated to Making Knowledge Work™, announced that Deloitte Luxembourg, one of the country’s largest professional services firms, has deployed the iManage Cloud as its enterprise document and email management platform, standardizing how teams create, manage, and collaborate on work across its audit, tax, advisory, and consulting practices.

By consolidating document management onto a single, secure cloud platform, Deloitte Luxembourg has replaced a mix of custom-built systems and local file servers with a unified environment that supports consistent ways of working for more than 2,500 users today. The move reduces operational complexity while strengthening governance, compliance, and collaboration across the firm.

“Before iManage, we were dealing with too many systems and too much inconsistency,” said Patrick Laurent, Partner and member of the Executive Committee at Deloitte Luxembourg. “Standardizing on iManage has given us a single, governed foundation for how our people work - one that supports collaboration across service lines while meeting our security and compliance requirements.”

Standardizing Work Across the Firm

Deloitte Luxembourg selected iManage Cloud to support firmwide standardization as the organization continued to grow and diversify its services, recognizing the need to scale collaboration and information governance without adding operational complexity or risk. The platform now underpins day-to-day work across audit, tax, advisory, and consulting, enabling teams to collaborate more effectively while maintaining strict controls over sensitive client information.

Monthly utilization is approximately 88 percent, with more than 2,500 users using iManage regularly as onboarding continues across the firm.

Scalable, Secure Cloud Deployment

Deloitte Luxembourg migrated approximately 10 terabytes of legacy content during the initial rollout, with an additional six terabytes added since go-live.

Preparing for the Next Phase of AI

With a centralized, governed content foundation in place, Deloitte Luxembourg is exploring how iManage can support future AI initiatives in a secure and controlled way. This includes testing the Model Context Protocol (MCP) to allow approved AI tools and agents to securely access content stored in iManage - enabling controlled experimentation with AI while preserving existing permissions, auditability, and governance.

A Trusted Foundation for What Comes Next

“A secure, standardized cloud platform is essential for organizations preparing for AI,” said Suzanne Walmsley, EMEA Region Lead at iManage. “By standardizing on iManage Cloud, Deloitte Luxembourg has reduced complexity, strengthened governance, and positioned itself to adopt future innovations with confidence.”
