Australian Law Firm Gilchrist Connell Moves to iManage Cloud for Document
and Email Management
High availability and increased performance key factors in move to the cloud
CHICAGO – April 22, 2019 – iManage, the company dedicated to transforming how professionals work, today announced that Gilchrist Connell – a rapidly growing insurance-focused law firm with offices in all of Australia’s major cities – has implemented iManage Cloud for new product capabilities and high availability.
A long-time user of iManage’s industry-leading document and email management, Gilchrist Connell saw the value in moving its on-premises deployment of iManage Work to iManage Cloud. “Our firm has more than doubled in size over the past few years and our on-premises infrastructure wasn’t keeping up,” said Kirk Rogers, IT Director, Gilchrist Connell. “We sought an innovative solution to achieve increased performance and deliver better client service. Moving to iManage Cloud has achieved that and more – we can store and retrieve documents much quicker and this has led to a higher level of efficiency with our professionals.”
As part of the iManage Cloud deployment, Gilchrist Connell will upgrade to iManage Work 10 – the newest version of iManage’s industry-leading document and email management product.
iManage Work 10 offers a single, intuitive interface that provides a unified user experience across desktops and mobile devices alike, giving professionals easy access to their critical files and communications regardless of location. Additionally, search is as easy as using a consumer internet site, making it easy for professionals to quickly find the information that matters to them.
“When we saw an initial demonstration of Work 10, our professionals were very excited about the streamlined interface and modern experience,” added Rogers. “We are now using Work 10 and see first-hand how it simplifies everyday tasks like previewing documents, which is now much faster and easier. The intuitive search function makes it easy for professionals to find the information that matters to them in much less time.”
Implementing iManage Cloud as a delivery platform ensures that Gilchrist Connell will always be on the latest version of iManage Work and able to take advantage of the latest features and functionality. iManage Cloud also provides superior security and scalability for the fast-growing firm.
iManage partner Trinogy Systems completed the firm’s implementation of iManage Work 10 in the iManage Cloud. “Trinogy was a great facilitator in the implementation of the platform and worked collaboratively with our team to deliver what we needed for our business,” said Rogers.
